Re-flow’s autumn update is a boost for UK infrastructure

For infrastructure companies – companies in construction, civil engineering, highways, surfacing, TM, rail, landscaping, line marking, and utilities – every day spent using inferior or old-fashioned management systems is a day spent sub optimally.

A lack of visibility of jobs, cumbersome scheduling, or inconsistent HSE compliance processes are unnecessary in 2024 – and costly too.

With Re-flow’s new Autumn Update, there’s been no better time for companies large and small to try out the strongest digital field management software going – no better time to ‘digitally simplify’ their field management and to let their teams focus on efficiency, safety, and productivity.

With free demos, and a dedicated support and onboarding department, Re-flow are primed to help every business in infrastructure step up their digital revolution.

So what are these new features and how can they help?

The new update brings with it a raft of customer-focused additions forged in close collaboration with the industry.

Enhanced BOQ System for Hire

They’ve radically improved the BOQ functionality for hire, offering a complete overhaul of this feature. Now the hiring feature in Re-flow will completely replace any standalone systems companies might have. These are often complex programs with lots of formulas and other intricate processes.

Re-flow’s hiring system completely blows them out of the water and adds a huge amount of control. Micro changes like allowing app users to alter oh-hire/off-hire dates and times by submitting a form reduces admin work and saves a lot of time.

Fatigue Tracking

Maintaining compliance in some of the most highly regulated industries in the country is (in the wider public) an underappreciated job in itself. In response to growing industry needs and the Working Time Directive, Re-flow have introduced fatigue tracking, which monitors hours worked within pre-defined frameworks. Create rules and restrictions for different employee groups and receive a conflict warning if any WTD rules have been hit. Businesses using Re-flow guarantee safety standards while giving themselves one less thing to think about.

Optimised Speed and Efficiency

They’ve also made significant speed and performance optimisations to the system. Re-flow was already fast, but now it’s even quicker. These quality-of-life improvements mean that users will experience reduced load times, faster access to data, and an overall smoother experience. This improvement keeps productivity high and operations seamless, allowing teams to focus more on their core tasks without disruption.

Additional New Features

File Versioning

To streamline your document management, Re-flow introduced file versioning. Users can now replace existing files rather than uploading multiple versions, reducing clutter and ensuring you're always working with the correct document. Previous versions remain accessible, giving an extra layer of protection. They’ve also given clients more control over deleted data retention – so they can now choose how long their data is retained in the system. This simplifies document management, reducing errors and saving valuable time when accessing key information.

New Connectors

They’ve expanded their integration capabilities with new connectors for NetSuite and Samsara. These additions enhance workflow management and provide more flexibility in syncing data with third-party systems, making operations even more seamless. Importing databases has also been updated, improved, and streamlined. These integrations offer users greater versatility, allowing for smoother coordination across platforms and ensuring data consistency across their systems.

Overall, this update is designed to make Re-flow even more powerful and user-friendly than ever before, helping infrastructure businesses operate more efficiently and safely. It also demonstrates our continued commitment to making Re-flow the go-to solution for infrastructure businesses beating their competition and staying ahead of the curve.

At Re-flow, building features for clients and adapting to industry changes and new pieces of legislation is at the forefront of everything that we do.
